Roy Parlane
Started out as a CNC Machine Tool Service Engineer for six years, moving through into sales, then onto management of a large Machine Tool and Engineering Distribution Company, before meeting and marrying Yvonne and embarking on his own Machine Tool business in 1987. A couple of years later Prosoft Ltd was established to bring Mastercam into the New Zealand Market. Roy's experience, skills and understanding across engineering and business management have ensured the company retains the values required to provide a continued and sustained presence for Prosoft, its flagship product Mastercam and its valued customers.
Although having owned a yacht for many, many years he is now enjoying the benefits of a launch and, more recently, has even been known to catch the odd respectable sized fish..finally!

Yvonne Parlane
Has a strong background in finance and has worked alongside Roy in their Machine Tool business since its' inception in 1987. A few years later taking on Prosoft, being responsible for all administration and financial aspects of both their companies, while managing a family and two children. She has a Legal Executive Degree and her naturally strong accounting skills and customer care philosophy continue to be strong contributors to the ongoing success of Prosoft.
Yvonne enjoys running and in November 2007 both she and daughter Kelly completed the New York Marathon! As well as enjoying time out on the boat, she has a keen interest in sporting activities, and especially enjoys being able to determine if the All Blacks will play well based on their performance of the Haka, which to date has not been known to have failed her!
